01/2016: Our last medical recipient is Binky, a special potbellied pig from Pa. Binky’s mother was never informed early on about the importance of spaying female pigs and when Pamela noticed the increased belly size, she immediately took her in to see the vet. The news was NOT good. Binky had a tumor. Surgery was scheduled and Binky has since made a full recovery, but not before racking up BIG bills. NAPPA decided to choose Pamela Gallo as this months medical funding recipient because Pamela is a huge advocate of NAPPA and of pet pigs and their overall well-being. We are proud to help those who advocate for pigs.
